From 3 to 7 March 2025 the 15th International Conference on Learning Analytics and Knowledge (LAK25) was held in Dublin, organized by the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR), the leading international and interdisciplinary research network in the field of learning analytics. This is the most prominent and competitive conference in the world related to learning analytics.

As part of the pre-conference program, iLed team members, Professor Blaženka Divjak, Darko Grabar, Barbi Svetec and Petra Vondra (FOI), with Prof Bart Rienties (The Open University UK), in collaboration with colleagues from the Monash University (Australia), conducted an interactive workshop. The workshop - held for the third consecutive year - focused on learning design using FOI’s innovative tool Balanced Design Planning (learning-design.eu), which is free to use and already used in over 40 countries worldwide. Additionally, Professor Blaženka Divjak co-organized a workshop on learning analytics and assessment together with colleagues from Monash University (Australia), the University of South Australia, the University of Wisconsin (USA), and the University of Hong Kong.
